With over 25 years of experience in education and psychological services, Christopher Alford has worked extensively with children, adolescents, families, and adults to help navigate life's challenges. As the former Lead LSSP of Katy ISD’s award-winning Counseling and Psychological Services Department, he has developed expertise in evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful, lasting change. Now in his 17th year of private practice, Mr. Alford remains committed to providing practical, research-driven therapy tailored to each client’s needs.
Christopher Alford, M.A. is a Licensed Psychological Associate and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. He earned his Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and his Masters of Arts in School Psychology from Southwest Texas State University. He holds multiple certifications, and is a former Crisis Prevention Institute [CPI] trainer, as well as the National Association of School Psychologists PREPaRE model for crisis intervention.
Mr. Alford believes that growth happens when individuals feel supported, challenged, and equipped with the right tools. His approach integrates practical strategies with compassionate guidance, ensuring that each client gains the skills and confidence to navigate life’s obstacles.
Mr. Alford specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and research-based psychological and behavioral interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. His work is designed to help clients develop practical skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and build social connections.
